In addition to partnering with non-profit advocacy groups, the Community Justice Project partners with private for-profit firms who respect community lawyering and have made a commitment either to a particular community or to a salient social justice issue. Pro Bono opportunities for range from transactional work on behalf of community-based organizations, to individual representation of indigent persons in court or in administrative proceedings, to long-term high-impact litigation and policy advocacy in support of a social justice campaign.

We also welcome volunteer contributions from designers, community artists, writers, communications professionals and others with skills they would like contribute to our work.
